Tomeka Oubichon, Eastern Regional Outreach Officer for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

Tomeka Oubichon is the Eastern Regional Outreach Officer for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia. Ms. Oubichon supports the strategic plans and goals of the agency with a focus on outreach and stakeholder engagement. She is a STEAM enthusiast and enjoys educating and connecting communities to resources within the innovation ecosystem.
During her time at the USPTO, Ms. Oubichon was a Patent Searcher in the Biochemical and Computer Architecture and Software areas Training Specialist. Ms. Oubichon has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Xavier University and a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from Louisiana State University. In addition, Ms. Oubichon is an alumni of the post-graduate Associate Fellowship Program at the National Library of Medicine.
When her schedule permits, she volunteers, and engages in a variety of hobbies, including baking.
