Workshop Session 1 (Choose 1):

Embrace the Imbalance

Presented by Kim Wright, Owner, Nothing Bundt Cakes and Wright Commissioning

As busy professionals we are constantly seeking a work/life balance because we believe it will lead us to true happiness and success professionally and in our personal life. For Kim, work/life balance is a fantasy. In March of 2015 she and her husband decided to join forces as business partners. They opened their original business, added three more, and have another in the works! Blurring the line between work and personal gradually became their normal. Between their workload and juggling the needs of our four young boys, their lives evolved into an unexpected happy place where there is NO balance. In this session, the ideal of work/life balance gets a second opinion, the endless quest to achieve it is questioned, discovering and embracing what’s right for you becomes the goal.

Kim Wright is the owner/operator of Nothing Bundt Cakes in Wynnewood, Springfield, and Wayne, PA where you can enjoy the most delicious bundt cakes you have ever experienced! In 2015 Kim co-founded Wright Commissioning, which has construction projects across the United States, with her husband. In 2018 she opened her first bakery. She is a native-Texan who has been living in Pennsylvania for over decade. Kim is a proud boy mom to sons Aidan (12), twins Brady & Jack (11) and Charlie (5). When she isn’t sharing delicious bundts around town, you’re likely to spot her at an ice rink cheering on her sons playing the entire family’s favorite sport- hockey.
