Master Your Leadership Mindset

Leadership is hard. Being a good leader is even harder. People are relying on you. Your decisions shape the future of their lives, their careers, and their financial security. There are many different thoughts about what it takes to be a strong leader. The thing that makes it so hard is that there's no one key attribute that makes someone a good leader - there are many, and you need to possess all (or most) of them. Those attributes consist of both mindsets and skills. In this talk, Molly will discuss three of the most important mindsets a leader needs to master to be a leader that people want to follow. We'll talk about confidence, integrity, and empathy, and why these are so important to effective leadership.
Meet the presenter:
Molly Gimmel is the CEO of Design To Delivery Inc., a multi-million dollar revenue government contracting firm that she co-founded in 2001. She has been a NAWBO member since 2002, past President of the Greater DC chapter, and served as NAWBO National Board chair in 2018-19. She is the author of "Master Your Mindset: How Women Leaders Step Up," in which she discusses the mindsets involved in being an effective leader. She founded the Vellamo Leadership Institute in 2021 to share the lessons from her book to help women become the best leaders they can be.
