Margaret Robus - EisnerAmper LLP

Although deeply involved in a very busy tax season, Margaret Robus of EisnerAmper LLP took a breath and a time out to share a bit about herself and her company with us this month.

One of the largest professional firms in the nation and located in Logan Square in Philadelphia, EisnerAmper LLP is a premier accounting and business advisory services enterprise.   The company features 180 partners and principals as well as 1,500 employees, all providing an extensive list of services, including: audit, accounting and tax services; valuation, due diligence, internal audit and risk management, litigation consulting and forensic accounting; technology, compliance and regulatory, operational consulting and other professional services to a broad range of clients, including more than 200 public companies.

EisnerAmper LLP is also a proud corporate sponsor of NAWBO Greater Philadelphia.

“Through our membership with NAWBO,” Margaret says, “We are able to meet and network with local women entrepreneurs, from companies of all sizes and in all industries. Forming connections with a diverse group of women business owners allows our firm members to learn about their business success and challenges of a personal level, and offer relevant resources and services to the community.”

Margaret noted EisnerAmper’s ideal clients run the gamut from start-ups all the way to well-established organizations, especially business owners who are looking for an advisor to work collaboratively with them.  “Our professionals work closely with our clients and their leadership teams to understand their goals and challenges, sharing best practices they have learned.”

Like all organizations, EisnerAmper faces challenges, and Margaret says staying on top of the talent game is a crucial strategy for her firm, particularly in a city like Philadelphia.  “We work hard to build a collaborative, supportive atmosphere that provides development opportunities for all team members,’ she says.  “With a variety of programs designed to keep us ahead of trends and support our efforts, and a wonderful group of professionals at every level in our organization, we are finding success.”

Margaret is a Tax Director for the firm and so, as mentioned, is extremely busy at this time of year.  However, when not working, Margaret likes to spend time with her family.  “Two of our boys like to golf, so my husband and I like to go out with them when we can,” she says. “I especially like spending time with our grandchildren.  Our grandson plays soccer, we we’ll find ourselves on the soccer fields whenever we can.  And, when not spending time with our boys our grandchildren, my husband and I like to travel.”
