investHER academy was created to teach women how to angel invest, successfully. It's a comprehensive educational & support program to help women business leaders be positive forces to strengthen the angel/startup world. Women have the networks and expertise to impact startups. Yes the growth of the female entrepreneur is on the rise, but without representation on both sides of the table - entrepreneurs and investors - we won't see real change. When women are stronger financially, so is the economy and society.

Angel Padulo is an entrepreneur, event planner and marketing consultant. She owns a boutique event planning business, designing and managing small and large events (such as expos, conferences, private receptions, galas, weddings, etc.) for corporations, non-profits and individuals. One of the services she currently offers clients is "Florals With Purpose" - which is repurposing event flowers by donating them to the client's chosen charity/organization, spreading acts of kindness one flower at a time.
Angel is now also about to launch a new venture (with her co-founder and husband Robert Padulo) called "investHER Academy" - teaching women how to angel invest successfully. After years of planning and managing the "Angel Venture Fair" (an expo for entrepreneurs to showcase their business to VC's and angel investors in hopes of raising capital), Angel grew frustrated with the lack of women investors in the room. She was determined to change this and help female entrepreneurs, as well as change the overall mindset women have when it comes to investing.
