Jane Barr Horstman had the savvy to realize her dream of starting a home-based administrative consulting firm over thirty years ago. Today, Barr Horstman & Associates has grown into a 10+ team of top-notch professionals offering high-level concierge services to an elite clientele.  JBH&A caters to wealthy, prominent Philadelphians, offering white glove, comprehensive personal assistance and organizing several large events a year, predominantly for non-profit organizations.  The firm also manages local, state and national associations, including Philadelphia-based alumni groups for prominent universities such as The Wharton School and Harvard.  “We are highly sought after because we are willing to do everything for our clients”, Jane says.  “We anticipate their needs before they do and we consistently exceed their expectations.”

Jane’s passion spills over into everything she touches.  Recently, she served as the Co-Chair of the Maternity Care Coalition’s annual fundraising event, helping them to raise over $100,000 for their cause.

Jane has served as the Executive Director for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of NAWBO since July of 2001 - that’s nearly 17 years! Jane explains, “I am a member of the Executive Committee and I work directly with the Officers and Board of NAWBO to serve and advise on all matters NAWBO. I handle the financial responsibilities and serve as a resource to all NAWBO committees.  I assist in the planning of events from inception through execution and ensure governance of all dealings of the Board.  I am extremely committed and passionately involved in NAWBO!”
